You can issue a birth certificate for yourself or your minor children, from the family record in which you are normally registered.

You will need your personal Taxisnet credentials.

Please note: the birth certificate issued through gov.gr, either online or at a later date by the municipality where you are officially registered, is now issued exclusively either:

• for judicial use
• for use in the private sector
• for use abroad

If it is not possible to issue the certificate directly online, you can issue it at a later date through the Municipality in which you are a registered citizen. When the certificate is issued by the Municipality, it will be sent to your Inbox and you will be notified by e-mail and text message (sms). For these cases, select "Application to a Municipality".

Alternatively, you have the option to book an online appointment on book an online appointment on myKEPlive so as to be served by an employee of the Citizens' Service Centres (KEP) via video conference.
