Gov.gr Wallet is a mobile application, through which you can create, save and check digital identity cards and digital driving licences.

The new digital identity cards and driving licences are digital documents issued through gov.gr and are fully equivalent to paper documents, suitable for any legal use within the Greek territory. They are not international travel documents.

To use the Gov.gr Wallet application, you will need:

• either your personal Taxisnet credentials and a verified mobile phone number
• or your personal internet banking credentials.

The mobile phone number is verified exclusively in one of the following ways:

• through registration in the National Register of Communications (NRC)
• by an one-time login with the internet banking credentials
