In particular, it can take place:

• The remote testimony / examination of a witness of a case that is being tried, who during the trial is far from the place of the trial.
• The remote testimony/examination of a case witness, who is abroad (cross-border connection).
• The remote testimony/examination of a witness or accused person who is a detainee in a correctional facility.
• The conduct of preliminary examination, preliminary investigation and interrogation.
• The remote connection of requests for legal assistance.
