Natural or legal persons can submit to the Departments of Rural Development and Control (TAAE) a declaration for the control of propagation material of cultivated plant species upon its on arrival at the entry points of the country. This applies to:

• trading
• reproduction
• the needs of a plant nursery businesses
• experimentation, environmental restoration or showcasing
• own use by the Ministry of Rural Development and Food institutions or by public research institutes

in relation to the following cultivated plant species:

• crops
• vegetables
• aromatic and medicinal plants
• ornamental plants
• fruit plants or trees
