It is mandatory to register your contact details in the National Contact Register (EMEp) so that they are available for your online transactions with the public.
You must register at least:

• your mobile phone number and either
• your e-mail address or your residential postal address or contact address

Procedure:
1. Register your mobile phone number and you will receive a one-time code by SMS to verify its possession. Each phone number can only be registered by one natural person.

2. Verify ownership of your mobile phone number through a financial institution or mobile service provider, or via remote identification (Digital Onboarding), provided you meet the following conditions:

• you are over 65 years of age, or
• you are registered in the e-EFKA registry of persons with disabilities, or
• you are a resident of the Greek islands, or
• you are a resident abroad

Note: If this is not possible, you must visit a KEP. Alternatively, if you are a resident abroad, you can visit the relevant consular authority.

3. Fill in the rest of your contact information. You will receive:

• a one-time code via text message (SMS) on your cell phone to confirm your information
• a confirmation link in your email to verify your email address.

You will need to enter your personal passwords on Taxisnet.

The online registration and update of your contact information with EMEp constitutes a sworn statement.

If your contact information changes, you must notify EMEp within 30 days of the change. The history of changes to your information in EMEp is retained for 7 years.
