You can apply to transfer your municipal record in order to stand as a candidate in municipal or regional elections.

Participating in Municipal elections

You can transfer your municipal record either:

• to a Municipality/Community in the prefectures of Attica and Thessaloniki 
• to a Municipality/Community in the same region as the Municipality or Community to which you belong

Participating in Regional elections

You can transfer your municipal record to any municipality in the Region in which you are standing as a candidate, rregardless of whether you are registered in a municipality in another region.

If you transfer your municipal record only with your minor children

If you want to transfer your and your minor children's municipal record, the other parent must be informed and give the his/her consent via an electronic formal declaration. Please note that all minor children must belong to the same municipality.

• to attach the necessary supporting documents
