You can apply online to obtain a temporary driving licence or check its validity.

Beneficiaries of a temporary driving licence are those who have successfully passed the qualifications and behaviour tests (successful practical test) for the initial issuance.

To issue or view a temporary licence, you will need your personal Taxisnet credentials.

If you think you are eligible for a temporary licence and such a licence is not available, select "Contact the Transport Directorate".

For the validation check, you will need either:

• the confirmation link of the temporary licence
• the confirmation code
• or the QR code

You can send the temporary driving licence electronically or print it and submit it in hard copy.
